Storytelling Presentation
Jennifer Juul is an Assistant Professor
in the Department of Theatre and Cinema.
She teaches acting, theatre history and
literature, and theatre appreciation.
In October she directed
All My Sons starring Conrad John
Schuck. She has also directed the Quest
show, The Wind in the Willows,
Puss in Boots, and The Comedy of
Errors at RU.
Jennifer has acted professionally since
1989, appearing in two national tours
and in regional theatres across the
country. She is a member of Actors'
Equity, with favorite credits ranging
from Lady Capulet in R&J to Sister

Originally from Northern Virginia, she
holds a B.A. in Theatre from James
Madison University, a master's degree in
Theatre with a concentration in History,
Literature and Criticism from Illinois
State, and an M.F.A. in
Performance-Pedagogy from the University
of Pittsburgh. Before coming to Radford,
Jennifer taught at Marietta College,
Illinois State University, and the
University of Pittsburgh.
Jennifer has presented workshops and
papers in such venues as the
International Drama/Theatre Education
Association in Ottawa, the Mid-America
Theatre Conference, the Virginia State
Thespian Conference, and Pittsburgh’s
Benedum Center. She was awarded a Summer
Grant to study the intersection of
acting and learning styles. In May
2007, she led the theatre travel study
to New York City.
Jennifer lives with her husband,
writer/actor Jim Walke, and their two
canine children.
